Our Mission:
To provide a sanctuary to all our critters — either rescued, adopted, or born here on the farm. We strive to create a self-sustaining lifestyle and provide goods + products to our community in the most environmentally friendly and renewable way within our means.
Hi Friends!
Clark Family Farms: this is our small, family run business. At the beginning of the pandemic in early 2020 with the world shut down, myself (Kevin) along with my sweet mom, Catherine, decided to start a chicken flock... which quickly led us desiring for more farm animals. Goats, rescue horses, cattle, you name it. So, in the middle of a global pandemic, we found ourselves selling our home in a suburb of Portland, OR and moving just north to La Center, WA to our little five acre farm.
We spent the first year getting our "farm" legs. Figuring out the ins and outs of every day care for our animals and land. With our first kidding season in 2021, we had four cute baby goats running around and an abundance of fresh goat's milk to experiment with. We started to make lotion, body wash, and face cream with our new magic ingredient, our fresh goat's milk! Over the course of the last few years we’ve sold in person at Farmers Markets and events at our farm AND worldwide from Etsy. We've shipping to all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, the UK and even Scotland! Our reviews came in raving. Our products helped people who've struggled with a range of dermatitis issues, from eczema to acne to rosacea. Cleansing and moisturizing for happy, healthy skin.
Sharing the fruits of our farm and helping the folks of our community, both near and far, is the drive to keep going. Waking up everyday and caring for our animals is the reward. Giving our working animals the best possible life. AND having the capability to give our rescue animals, both horses and goats, a deserving second chance... It is a joy every. single. day.
Our little farm is the proud home of two rescue horses, eleven goats, 67 chickens, two geese, two house dogs, one livestock guardian dog, one cute heifer who just turned one and thinks she’s a goat, and a golden girl farmhand (our dear cousin Sandy).
Thank you for visiting our site and joining our community!
Love,
The Clarks
